We met in our home town of Bodø at Easter 1989, got together on Midsummer Eve the same year, got engaged on 6 February 1990 and married on 17 August 1991. We both took our first degrees at NTH/NTNU, spent 1992 in Bodø during Bjørn’s military service and moved back to Trondheim for further studies. We spent most of 1995 in Rochester, in the state of New York in the USA, where Bjørn completed his doctoral thesis. At Christmas 1997 we moved to Sjøvold, where we still live with our animals.
