About Lucia

Before the Sphynx was recognised as a breed in FIFe, we decided that we wanted one, after seeing some of them in the USA in 1995. After a lot of searching and waiting, we collected her in Sweden at Easter 2002, as one of the first in Norway. A lot was new with a cat that had to be bathed every weekend, have her ears cleaned and insisted on sleeping under the duvet with us at night, but it all went well and Lucia was soon the natural boss of the house. After a couple of years of shows, she became so much the boss that she decided she wasn’t going to take part in that any more… She may have looked fragile without a coat, but she was never ill a day in her life and was almost 15 when she left us.
