About Basta

Basta wasn’t “planned”, but we simply fell for her kind and intelligent face when we saw her at a show in Rognan in June 1992. Pusi was sometimes beaten by one Cornish Rex or another, and we had become fascinated by the breed with the curly coat. She came to us not long after Melody, and from then on the two were best friends for ever. Because of a kinked tail, Basta was spayed early and never had kittens, but when Melody had her litter, Basta was auntie to the kittens. She is the kindest cat we have ever had, but sadly she had to say goodbye in 2006.
