About Vembi

Having “always” wanted a red cat, Hilde finally got her wish when a cancellation meant we could buy Vembi in the autumn of 2005. Vembi really lived up to the breed’s description as “the gentle giant”: he was as kind as the day is long and loved cuddling with us or the other cats. He was lovely to snuggle up to because of his thick coat, but it often got too warm and he had to go and lie on his own on the glass table! In his sixteenth year, the pain from arthritis/muscle wasting and his failing appetite became too much, so he was allowed to go and left us in January 2021.

Breeder: (N) Fraggleberget’s, Trine Forbergskog
