About Mons

Mons was our very first cat, acquired at the first cat show we visited (we went there having firmly agreed that we would NOT get a cat for our student flat…). As a kitten he had been handed over to the Association for Rehoming Animals (FOD), and they were at the show with lots of cats. We fell for Josephus, who became Mons with us, and he moved around with us through our studies, military service, further studies and eventually to Sjøvold. At thirteen he said goodbye in 2003, but he lives on in our memories.
